So this is that drawing I was telling you guys in my journal that was supposed to be mixed media, mostly pastels, but it only ended up being pastelsXD chalk pastels that is. They smear really easy, so you have to be careful, but if it's done right it makes the coolest look, like it was done digitally (:

So this is for my AP art portfolio, my theme is transformation, see? it's a dragon with fox features and wings, going from plant to dragon, or vice-versa.

I'm so proud of this, and I hope you guys like it too:D enjoy :heart:

This is absolutely beautiful. You've definitely got some pastel skills that I am feeling a wee bit jealous of. Do you mask off sections of the art, or are you just real careful about the smudging risks?

Oh I absolutely love pastels, aside from the drawback that it's literally impossible to completely preserve such wonderful art. It's a very nice piece, definitely worthy of a spot in an art portfolio.
